Johannes finished the conversion of an Audi A2 in May. It features a 24 kWh Nissan Leaf battery (can be had for around 2500€) and a Toyota Prius drivetrain that also includes DC/DC converter and charger.
Its practical range is about 120 km so it perfectly fits its owners needs who drives 70 km every week day. He charges it from his solar system with the integrated 3.6 kW charger.
The car was built in Kassel but the owner lives in Saarlouis, 400 km away. So Johannes fitted a CCS fast charging port specially for this journey.
